Shrimp Boil
INGREDIENTS
30g Old Bay Seasoning (approx 1.5T)
7.5g salt (approx 1.5t)
900ml hot water
100ml beer (I used Capital alc-free beer)
2 medium red potatoes, cut in sixths
300g smoked sausage, cut in inch lengths (I used Posh Dogs)
2 corn on the cob, cut in sixths
270g peeled frozen prawns tails on
30g butter
Sprinkle Old Bay
DIRECTIONS
In a large pot, bring the Old Bay, salt, water and beer to a boil.
Add potatoes and cook over high heat for 5 minutes
Add smoked sausage; continue to cook on high for 5 minutes
Remove (straining liquid) and place into large serving bowl
Add corn to pot; continue to boil for 5 minutes
Add shrimp and cook for 3 minutes
Remove (straining liquid) and place into large serving bowl
Add butter, sprinkle with additional Old Bay and stir through
Ready to serve
